Essroc was a proud sponsor of 25th Annual Girl Scout Golf Tourney conducted by the Girl Scouts of Tribal Trails Council, which was held on June 11, 2005. Julie Spears from the Girl Scout Council thanked Essroc for its support of their summer and sports programs.

ESSROC Scores for Big Brothers/Big Sisters
ESSROC provided both corporate sponsorship and participants in the recent Bowl For Kids' Sake fundraiser to benefit the local chapter of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
More than one hundred bowlers from throughout the region converged on Meyers Bowling Lanes in Logansport for the annual fundraiser.
Local Kids Into the News Thanks to ESSROC
By participating in the local Newspapers In Education (NIE) program, ESSROC is helping area teachers boost their students' reading skills while learning more about the world in which we live.
Every school day, 800 copies of the local daily newspaper, the Pharos Tribune, are delivered to schools throughout the Logansport community for use in teachers' lesson plans on all grade levels.
Dirt Devils Girls Softball On Base with ESSROC
Look out, the Dirt Devils are coming! No, not the handheld vacuum cleaner. The Logansport Dirt Devils are the local softball team for girls age 12 and under. And the only thing cooler than their name is watching these youngsters and their enjoyment of the sport. ESSROC is a corporate sponsor of the team and every game you can find several of our employees in the bleachers cheering them on. Go Devils!
Radio Club Provides Important Emergency Communication
One of the last lines of communication in a power blackout, weather-caused power outages or other emergencies which could befall this bicounty (Cass and Miami Counties) part of the Hoosier State is provided by an organization of amateur radio operators based in Peru, Indiana.
The Miami County Amateur Radio Club provides an active network of broadcasters reporting weather and other conditions throughout the region from ham radio systems in their homes. The network broadcasts are so current and accurate that even the local weather bureau monitors them for breaking news.
ESSROC Control Room Operator Shayne Leffert is a member of the club and a key link in the local network. He shared news of the club's role in the community and ESSROC is now a corporate sponsor.
Junior Achievement Benefits from ESSROC Employee's Experience
When the Junior Achievement group meets at Logansport High School, the man who imparts much of the wisdom on sound business practices is none other than ESSROC's Plant Accounting Manager, Jim Jacobs.
Every week for multiple 8-week sessions, Jim teaches a variety of business topics to the high school juniors. We know from experience the value of Jim's business expertise and are proud to see him share this knowledge with our community's students.
Cass County YMCA Wins ESSROC Support
