ESSROC Building Relationships with Local Girl Scout Chapter
MARTINSBURG, WV -- When employee volunteers of the ESSROC facility in Martinsburg say they want to build community relationships, take them at their word. Because that is exactly what they did when they rolled up their sleeves and built a new storage building for the local chapter of the Girls Scouts of America.
"The Girl Scouts had a nice pavilion but they had no place to store all their equipment. So we got together a team of company employees and built them one," said John MacKeller, Plant Manager of ESSROC in Martinsburg. "A local lumber yard donated the lumber, ESSROC donated more construction materials and we all pitched in to make it happen." |
