Koala-ty Kids Program Promotes Good Deeds in Local School Do a good deed, get rewarded with a token. Do enough good deeds and your tokens can be redeemed for valuable, fun gifts.
That's how the Koalaty Kids program is working at Shafer Elementary, the school closest to ESSROC's Nazareth plant and the recipient of company sponsorship for the program.
The reward tokens were designed by ESSROC and feature the company logo on one side and a koala bear--symbol of the Koala-ty Kids program--on the obverse side. Thousands of them are in circulation at the school and are distributed by teachers to individual students who display positive attitudes and helpful behavior. Once a year, the accumulated tokens may be redeemed for the students' gift choices at a local Wal-Mart.
This is the second year that ESSROC has served as sponsor for this youth program.
